Lake Martin is an awesome place to learn seaplane skills.    It has around 750 miles of shoreline and 44000 acres of mostly deep, clear and open water for us to learn on.   There are narrow areas and wide areas.   It has good beaches and docks.   The lake can be a little crowded in the summer on weekends, but in general there is plenty of room for seaplanes.
